I ordered my Panamera on Wednesday, Feb 18th. No delivery date yet and won't for some time but the SE rep thought Nov/Dec was likely. I can't believe they put that much car on the market for such a relatively reasonable price. I expected the model I wanted to be at least $25K more!

I bought a Turbo that the dealer already had on production on Sept 28th. Car landed in the US on 10/23 and I have yet to receive it. It is sitting at the port here, supposedly being held there by the DOT for some reason that has not been explained to me. Supposedly this hold applies to ALL Turbos in the US right now. I'm being told that the DOT is expected to release the cars early to mid-next week. Does anyone have any more info on this??

Likely cause is Porsche did not file all the DOT releases properly.

Default Delivery

Got my 4s 2 weeks ago. A week after I got it, I experienced the key problem. If you are not familiar with the problem that your car might still have...... you get locked out and when you manage to enter the car with the mechanical key,
you get the message "key unrecognized and it won't start.
Very frustrating....it was fixed by a software update.
The car is a more comfortable and quieter 911 4s.....great car!!!

Hello everyone. I am new on the site. Just signed up. Looking forward to spending some time on the site and enjoying the forum. I've had some older 911s (1989 C4S coupe, 1996 C4 cabrio, 2003 911 C4S) and a 2006 Cayman S. Not a Panamera owner just yet. We'll see if I can be convinced! Looking forward to being part of the forum. Thanks.

I am asking if anyone knows whether the Voice Control for PCM is interated with the Bluetooth so that you can use voice commands to the phone?

Anyone have experience with the thermal and noise window insulation?

Any comments on the above or any suggestions? Would really love to know your thoughts as I have time to make changes! Thanks.

I wanted to update my last post. I changed my 2011 panamera order. It's going to be platinum silver with all natural black leather interior with carbon package; 20" tubo 911 wheels and a bunch of other good stuff! I am expecting or is it hoping to get it July 2010.

Default 4s Panamera

Just got my 4s panamera yesturday. I was looking at lambo's, Maserati's and audi R8's, Bently's and to top it all off I was not a Porsche fan. However, I noticed the Panamera, the Panamera is something different. How to compare, In my opinion, its the new age of exotic 4door automobile, Bently is old in design and not enough technology, Maserati does not have the performance, whats left, audi, bmw, merc, lexus, infin not worth mentioning. The Panamera is in a leauge of its own. I see it as a technological break through for Porsche. smooth ride yet has the power when needed. You have the best of booth worlds, IMO it looks better than any 911. Also, its priced over 100k with only 9K made a year so you also have exclusivity. If any of you are thinking of getting one do it. you also get to share the expierence with people because they can fit inside.

Moreover, I live in La area , lets start doing Panamera runs, lets all hang out and show off are rides. lets set something up. Let the rest of the world see Panamera how we see it.
